XI: Pages 13-14, 15-16
Bits and pieces from London and York. Some doodles from the londerground, and Natural History Museum. Commissioned by R. Owens, (Darwin hater but also “dinosaur” coiner), it is in fact the greatest building on the planet, and entry is free.
Bottom right (13-14) is from decorative spaces on viking implements. The Viking Centre in York is also pretty fantastic, I recommend it. Bring a date, they’ll think you very cool.
And a centurion helmet with a wet-cell plume on the bottom of 15-16. Ugh text.
